Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits.  You’ll support the delivery of award winning tools and services that cover everything from personal and small business banking as well as lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. This group is also focused on developing and delivering cutting edged mobile applications, digital experiences and next generation banking technology solutions to better serve our clients and customers.
Card Services and Enterprise Systems DBAs support applications across all lines of business (Auto/Education, Business Banking, Card Services, Centralized Transactions Operations, Commercial Banking, Consumer Bank, Consumer Internet Group, Credit Risk, Finance, Home Lending, Investment Bank, Treasury & Securities Services, Wealth Management).
The Database Management Analyst is responsible for the following:  
  • Implement data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
  • Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication and other data issues
  • Work with other Information Architects and Database Designers to implement the physical data model
  • Develop the database performance monitoring process and analyze data for optimization opportunities
  • Manage on-site backup and recovery process
  • Plan for and execute required database upgrades or migrations
  • 3+ years of work experience with Mainframe IMS and/or DB2 database technology, preferably as a Database Administrator.  Experience in other database technologies also acceptable.  
  • Familiarity with Database Management objectives, including backup and recovery procedures, database tuning, and database availability
  • Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tooling
  • Solid skills with one or more programming languages  
  • Experience with problem management processes/tooling
  • Experience with change management processes/tooling
