Role Description:
Based in New York, the U.S. Trusts & Estates Business Management Associate is responsible for partnering with the Business Management Project Teams, Middle Office Operations, Technology, and the Trusts & Estates (T&E) Front Office to effectively deliver on business initiatives with a focus on those related to change management.
Day-to-day activities will focus on gathering and analyzing large amounts of data while ensuring its accuracy for use in strategic initiatives. In addition, this role will work closely with Data Scientists and Technology to review and understand datasets for use in digital efforts intended to transform current business operating processes, as well as assist with implementing other T&E digital capabilities.  
  • Procure and analyze large amounts of data, provide recommendations, and design how to best structure data remediation efforts
  • Manage T&E remediations which includes having in-depth knowledge of all projects requiring remediation, understanding T&E business cycle and impact remediation efforts have on T&E Front Office, and identifying opportunities to manage remediation efforts efficiently
  • Serve as a remediation liaison and central contact between Business Management Project Teams, Middle Office Operations, and T&E Front office
  • Partner with Data Scientists and Technologies team in machine learning efforts which include understanding the data used and conclusions made from machine learning activities as well as identifying other machine learning opportunities
  • Support global digitization of T&E documents by working with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Digital team to enable e-capabilities
  • Work with the Private Bank Digital Teams and conduct on-going digital research to recommend new digital solutions for Trusts & Estates domestically and internationally
  • Create, track, and report key metrics to internal stakeholders to demonstrate status / progress
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders as well as present findings to Trusts & Estates leadership
  • Partner with the Project Management Office to highlight initiatives and analyze data regarding T&E achievements and areas of opportunity to promote productivity
  • Three  to five  years of financial services experience preferably in wealth management
  • Experienced with Big Data, Data Analytics, and Digital Solutions
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills where individual has the ability to quickly analyze large amounts of data and provide recommendation
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills where individual is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization including Senior Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across businesses lines and key support functions
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple competing priorities, and demonstrates a sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficient to advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Word
  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information
