The Business Research Center provides global support to Investment Banking. Through a global network of research and access to thousands of information sources we deliver the data needed for business purposes.
           Our highly trained research staff adds value by partnering with colleagues and clients to develop focused and efficient research strategies that provide with first-rate information in the most cost-effective, timely manner possible.
           Partnering with our BRC colleagues around the world enables us to enhance delivery of research services by leveraging on global strengths to fulfill request. Moreover, utilizing support from BRC offices in other regions enables us to improve turnaround time by expanding the hours during which your research request can be completed.
The main responsibility of the BRC Interns is to create a daily report on global M&A news following pre established guidelines. This report includes the most relevant articles of the day and is send to all Investment Banking sector globally, including high executives. This role has a high exposure and requires a very responsible profile.
 
Requisites:
  • Economics or Business students
  • Basic Financial Knowledge
  • Fluent English
  • Financial instruments and/or research are a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to reprioritize and negotiate deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide research support to internal clients by sourcing, reviewing and providing information on a global basis.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality client service
  • Manage own work with full accountability for ensuring quality, timeless and client satisfaction associated with it
  • Communicate effectively, proactively and professionally with BRC staff, management and internal clients.
  • Operate as part of larger BRC team, supporting and leveraging off others as needed, with accountability for elements of team results.
  • Proactively manage and troubleshoot process flow,  escalating appropriately
