We are building a new team of engineers, analysts and program managers from the ground up to focus on reliability and fault tolerance is a core feature of the product development life-cycle.
The technical solution analyst for Digital Reliability is someone who will  help in design, build and maintain solutions which drive continuous availability into our online and mobile services layer, and will ensure a customer never notices a failure or interruption of service. Working along with the  Application Development team, they will design and implement foundational solutions in Java web services, frameworks, and data and messaging layers to be deployed across Digital applications and LOBS. The use of industry proven resilience patterns, and methods to measure detect and test for resilience, is at the heart.
This is key priority for becoming the Digital bank of choice, and has CIO level visibility.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Mapping current state vs target state global resolving gaps or differences as needed
  • Interviewing internal and external stakeholders to gather facts and finalize requirements
  • Documenting technical requirements artifacts or use cases
  • Identifying issues and communicating options and resolutions to others
  • End to end ownership of scope from concept through requirements; contribute to process design, technical design  and test approach, aid in defect research/remediation
  • Thought leadership to generate process improvements and elevate user and operational experience 
  • Coordination with different teams as needed on co-development efforts
  • Contribute to training, procedures, executive summaries and project plans
  • Deliver project commitments on time
  • Create a positive team environment that fosters innovation and efficiency
 
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a technical/business analyst role
  • College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience
  • Analysis experience; demonstrated data analytical skills
  • Experience with application development background and transition to technical/business analyst role a major plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience in process re-engineering and business analytics concepts
  • Be a trusted partner, listen and act on feedback, foster teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Agile requirements artifacts: use cases, story maps, domain diagrams, specification by example
  • Ability to present complex solutions and methods to a general community
  • Ability to craft senior level reporting and metrics
  • Ability to build a strong people network within a large organization - effecting change and communicating clearly
  • Proficient with Microsoft products-Word, Excel, Project, Visio
