The online and mobile channels for Chase currently support more than 32 million active customers; 9 million customers interact with us daily, making Chase the most visited banking portal in the US.   Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry. 

 

As a Big Data Applications Project Manager within the Digital Big Data & Analytics, you will lead teams of technologists and analysts in support of multiple projects covering a wide variety of businesses and product lines as well as computing platforms and architectures. You will coordinate vendor, consultant and staff relationships to create maximum efficiency and productivity. More specifically, you will develop, plan, and schedule applications programming projects, working closely with key technology and business stakeholders in the development, testing and implementation of applications. You will coordinate your team's activities with other project managers, direct your staff's assignments, and evaluate their work.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead scrum teams in the development of big data and analytics solutions for Digital channel.
  • Manage software development utilizing agile methodology.
  • Manage Digital intake for Big Data projects including Project Pipeline process.
  • Facilitate the production of key documents including business requirements via BluePrint, master story list, detailed user stories, sprint planning and design documents
  • Facilitate project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members.
  • Maintain comprehensive detailed project plans.
  • Produce timely and accurate project reporting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of solid Project Management experience in support of software development projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Agile development methodology and practices.
  • Experience in digital technologies.
  • Any experience with Big Data technologies is highly desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and JIRA. Clarity experience is helpful.
  • Strong technical leadership and technical risk management.
  • Relevant degree of work experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communicator with excellent reasoning and presentation skills.
  • Strong sense of virtual teams and consensus building.
