The online and mobile channels for Chase currently support more than 32 million active customers; 9 million customers interact with us daily, making Chase the most visited banking portal in the US.   Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry.
 
 
Responsibilities:

 

    • Lift and Shift of Mobile and Digital payments platform on JPMC internal cloud and AWS
    • Training sessions on Cloud technologies for the whole team
    • Design solutions for cloud migration
    • Analyze, expose and develop internal/external services for cloud migration.
    • Java development for integrating application with databases.
    • Proactively involved in database monitoring activities like Replications, capacity issues.
    • Proactively identify gaps in all database processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs  and provide recommendations on how to resolve
    • Perform regular/periodic peer/code reviews of SQL queries written across application and provide optimized query for better performance.
    • Fix all the environmental issues in the database like SAN storage, handling clusters
    • Work closely with business analyst, quality assurance, and DBA resources throughout delivery of solutions

Base Qualifications:
      • 5+ working experience in Java, Spring and Hibernate
      • Experience in Design Patterns
      • Hands on experience on Web services- AWS, SOAP, REST, JSON
      • Working knowledge of Messaging Framework
      • Experienced with building deploying and troubleshooting web services
      • Cloud technologies - Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferred  | EC2, Beanstalk, ELB, S3, SQS, RDS
      • Developed hybrid cloud delivery model
      • Automation of cloud resources
      • 5+ years’ experience with core Java based application design and development
      • Good to have experience with J2EE Application Server (preferably Tomcat)
      • Working exposure to Monitoring tools – Splunk, Wily, Glide, Dynatrace
      • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale applications in a mission-critical production environment
