The J.P. Morgan Communications team is seeking a candidate to join our Corporate and Investment Bank and Corporate Communications office to support our French operations.  The position will be based in London with the EMEA Corporate Communications team.
This member of our team will work with the firm’s Paris management committee and major international media to help explain the firm's financial news, as well as corporate social responsibility and philanthropic efforts. 
Daily responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the Paris management committee’s priorities
*Writing and distributing messages to all of the firm’s French employees on major internal news including employee announcements and operational issues
*Pitching financial news ideas to reporters in local or international media
*Briefing senior executives across businesses on media and public appearances in the region
*Researching philanthropic and financial news stories to pitch story ideas to reporters and to keep staff abreast of media trends
*Reviewing financial and economic research analyst reports to understand trends and topics in various industries or political regions
*Print, broadcast and digital media monitoring
*Managing logistics for media events such as press conferences and media roundtables
*Communicating with the firm’s senior Communications staff in London and New York regarding major events in France
Ideal candidates will have:
*5-10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or front-office financial services functions
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
*MBA or equivalent
*Experience with a leading international financial services firm
*Proficiency in Microsoft office and various social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter
*Proficiency in email distribution services such as Targeted Email software
