  • Support the Program/Project Manager from an Central Technology perspective on the Coordinated Releases interacting with our Central Technology partners.
    • Act as a liaison between the Business and development, providing insight to each team of the others needs and expectations
    • Ensure Central Technology follows the project life cycle ensuring that creation/verifying completion of initiation documents, engagement forms, project charters, and design and requirement documents is completed
    • Maintains release management schedule for specific (or assigned) system(s) as it impacts Central Technology
    • Ensuring all project management tools are updated to support each project including any Testing Tracking Tools, Test Execution Strategy/Plan and the Implementation plan
    • Facilitate and drive sizing and prioritization
    • Verifies capture of acceptance/signoff on deliverables
    • Ensure Central Technology resources perform all testing required including providing updates in any Testing Tracking Tools and to the test plan.  Also, must address all defects to ensure they are resolved
    • Supports release execution by monitoring of each phase of the release. Tracks the release as it progresses thru various release gates and test phases, alerts appropriate stakeholders of any errors or issues that need to be addressed
    • Address change requests, issues and defects in a timely manner
    • Accurately and concisely articulate risks, issues, questions, and recommendations to the Business based upon feedback received from the Central Technology application resources
    • Coordinates and schedules key change to production activities. This includes the tracking of all elements with team leads as the project moves through testing regions into production. Accommodates a flexible schedule as most releases occur outside of regular business hours.  Provides release coordination and communication during and after deployment
    • Proficiency with the following tools: Testing Tracking Tools, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint
    • Ability to create, maintain and publish release status reports for Sr. management audience

  • Solid knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills to be a release manager
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP General Ledge Platform and/or FDW MIS Database
  • Self-motivated, team who can work independently
 
Desirable skills/experience (optional):
  • Knowledge of any other Finance Applications such as Finance Reference Data / SDM, MCS/SAPCO/FDW Costing, OFSA
  • Knowledge of Finance project management tools such as Testing Tracking Tools
