Marketing is fast becoming a highly technology-powered discipline, with client’s expectations heavily influenced by digital disruption and innovation. Wealth Management Marketing Technology is an integral part in this arena to deliver a world class client-centric experience across the Private Bank, JP Morgan Securities, and Chase Wealth Management.  We are continuing to standardize and evolve the marketing technology platforms supporting the Wealth Management businesses.

 

About the Position:

The Marketing Technology team is a motivated, forward thinking group comprised of high-talent individuals.  We are focused on partnering with the Marketing Team to centralize and amplify content management, consolidate stand-alone digital experiences, and enable targeted campaigns, communications, and experiences.  The Project Manager/Scrum Master is expected to plan, execute, and communicate on complex projects.  The Project Manager/Scrum Master coordinates activities with team members at all levels (Product, Business Analysis, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Business Management), and apprises Program Management and Senior Management on status of the program.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to drive the cross-functional Project Team to execute and deliver assigned projects.
  • Manage projects through the entire Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) using standard project processes and tools with an emphasis on Agile.
  • Manage project budget, resource allocation, and financials.
  • Create project plan and track to key milestone dates associated with targeted implementation window.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and actions.
  • Manage Marketing Technology roadmap and future vision.
  • Partner with Software Engineering and Product to define approach for build phase and/or scripts; maintain master plan and dates for the build phase from start of build to completion.
  • Partner with Product to ensure overall business readiness prior to launch; develop business readiness playbook and facilitate Go/No Go meetings upon completing of testing.
  • Manage project communications & status reporting (e.g. project performance metrics/KPIs)
  • Develop slides / decks for Senior Management team to articulate project status and issues.
  • Proactively identify obstacles and collaborate with team to identify several options/solutions.
  • Collect and store all required compliance artifacts for the project across the project life cycle.
  • Maintain artifacts in Confluence, JIRA, and other repositories.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Domain knowledge in Marketing strongly preferred.
  • Solid experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid software development methodologies highly preferred.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills.
  • Assured ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.
  • Interacting professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Extensive experience establishing and managing roadmaps, project plans and key milestone dates.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.  Ability to command and lead meetings with clear and specific agenda.  Keep the audience attentive and participate actively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
  • Advanced knowledge of collaboration tools like Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
