Key Responsibilities
    • Supporting existing and building new user tools to assist in generating, reconciling and applying controls to a variety of regulatory reports, notably MiFID II and SFTR.
    • Building MS Access databases to facilitate reconciliations to support the testing and creation of secondary intra-day controls
    • Support and analysis for MiFID II / MiFIR, SFTR and other new regulatory  developments
    • Provide analysis and comment on testing flows in response to internal queries and queries from regulators, vendor partners and agencies
    • To write and validate procedures in relation to new reports and processes to ensure Compliance and Audit are comfortable with our controls environment
    • To provide guidance to members of Transaction Management and other areas of the business of regulatory implications of the new flows
    • BAU responsibilities across our product suite of regulatory reports
The successful applicant with have:
  • A high level of numeracy
  • Some RAD development type experience
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and VBA
  • Ability to maintain and produce User Defined Tools to support the reporting requirements
  • Some experience of SIT, UAT and Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of XML, SQL and VB Script preferred
  • A working knowledge of Fixed Income regulation is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to partner with a wide variety of diverse groups
  • A flexible, organised, proactive attitude towards work with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Good communication skills in all media.
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Preferred: experience or exposure to  one or more of FCA Transaction reporting, PRA Liquidity reporting, LSE/FSMA/Irish Stock Exchange Trade reporting, HRF/Turnover reporting and/or Reg W trade monitoring
