JPMorgan Chase's Core Foundation Services (CFS) group, within Global Technology Infrastructure, designs and delivers critical and foundational platform solutions for all technology infrastructure systems across all lines of business. This includes the engineering design and delivery of platforms for Directory Services, Authentication and Privilege Management, Configuration Management, IPAM, Orchestration, Reference data, and more.
 
The CFS team is seeking a Data Security Governance and Controls Lead to design, implement, and enforce security policies that protect systems and data from access by unauthorized users. The individual filling the role will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of technology platform for Technology Reference Data Management. Candidate will work with various cross-functional teams to implement solutions, and must be able to work in a global team setting and adapt to dynamic requirements. 
 
Key responsibilities: 
  • Designs, implements, and enforces security policies and controls that protect systems and data from access by unauthorized users.
  • Creates procedures for data access, protection, and backup.
  • Works closely with Audit, Technology Controls and Cybersecurity on data security solutions.
  • Investigates security vulnerabilities in the system, research and recommends improvements to prevent future intrusions.
  • Reviews changes to information systems to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Thrive in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills. Collaborate and build relationships with business users, technical development teams, various technology controls and data operations partners
  • Establish, and regularly update, multi-phase delivery roadmap
Experience:
  • 7+ years of hands-on IT experience with a successful track record in large enterprise environment across a wide range of technology functions.
  • 3+ years in technology controls and governance or related experience. ISACA certifications a plus.
  • Experience in modern technology infrastructure stack: Linux, Windows, Virtualization, Cloud
  • Experience in software-defined infrastructure and data-driven automation a plus.
  • Experience in technical product management and client engagement a plus.
  • Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations and to interact effectively with peers and management across diverse cultures
