The CAO & Technology Training team provides training solutions for the Chief Administrative Office and Global Technology, including CIB, Asset Management and Commercial Banking. This team also manages our technology, operations and corporate analyst development programs.
 
As the Technology Programs Instructional Developer you will:
  • Use your passion for developing and delivering training to create engaging learning experiences for emerging and experienced technologists. 
  • Leverage your technical experience with real teams and your view of the end-to-end process to develop and deliver technical solutions along with your ability to consult with experienced technologists to build relevant training content.  
  • Work on multiple time boxed projects simultaneously in an intense, high performing work environment. 
  • Use “training as code” approach to build hands-on keyboard training solutions. 
  • Use your enthusiasm and technology experience to deliver training in face-to-face and virtual classrooms. 
  • Work on exciting Global projects that reach across all lines of business in the Firm and deliver on JPMCs Global Technology Strategic vision. You’ll have the opportunity to create positive learning outcomes for over 40,000 experienced technologists and the over 1,000 new incoming university graduates who join the Firm’s Technology Analysts Program each year.
  • Possess skills of a “full stack developer.”
    • Server, network, and hosting environment
    • Relational and non-relational databases
    • Programming language (Java preferred)
    • Object Oriented Design and UML modeling techniques
    • Agile software development
    • Continuous Integration
    • How to interact with APIs and the external world
    • User interface and user experience
    • Test Driven Development (TDD)
    • Security concerns throughout the program
    • Understanding customer and business needs
    • Proven ability to acquire new technical skills when needed 
  • Some experience in designing learning solutions including tutorials, labs and coding simulations 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a member of high performing team in project driven environment; Team player, collaborative, creative, and innovative 
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated the ability to build professional relationships 
  • Ability to effectively deliver training information in classroom and large group settings; Able to facilitate a challenging and interactive learning program; Create and sustain a participatory environment 
  • Willingness to continually grow your technical and training expertise through self-motivated learning along with commitment to research and “do your homework” before meeting with Subject Matter Experts.
