Role Description

The Regulatory Manager will be a senior member of the AIS Regulatory Team and will be responsible for analyzing regulatory matters in addition to assessing the impact and implications of any changes. The successful candidate will work with a wider team to define and implement appropriate solutions and will also take a leadership role in the proactive management of regulatory client communications.  The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to understand regulatory documentation and translate into clearly defined business requirements.  Investor level AML services will be a key focus of this role.

 

The Regulatory Manager works closely with the wider AIS line of business (Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Private Equity and Real Estate) in addition to 2nd line of defense partners.  As a newly created role within AIS, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a fast growing team.

 
  • Research and analysis into AML and other regulatory topics executing sound judgement  to devise the product offering
  • Produce impact assessments and briefing papers that can be understood by global partners
  • Support delivery of the regulatory roadmap
  • Be an SME providing guidance on regulatory developments
  • Chair meetings/forums including production of materials and action logs as appropriate
  • Strong appreciation of regulatory requirements impacting AIS
  • Strengthen regulatory awareness across AIS globally
  • Represent Regulatory Control on corporate wide projects
  • Co-ordinate business responses to regulator requests for information
  • Be a key driver and unwavering advocate to deliver best in class services internally and externally
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, third parties, as well as with other business groups across JPMorgan
  • Understanding of Alternative investment fund types across multiple jurisdictions
  • Adhere to JPMorgan's established processes and procedures
  • Strive to modify / iterate processes and flows to continually improve accuracy, reduce redundancy, and mitigate risk
