As a Business Analyst, you will support our various teams by assisting with projects and support for various initiatives. The candidate may be involved in multiple projects or initiatives and are involved participants on functions across multiple lines of businesses.

Project work typically has a substantial impact on the corporation/LOB and is geared towards Trade Processing and  more effective Market Execution process improvement or other priorities as defined by management. 
 
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • Well-rounded experience on Investment banking (with focus on Data Analytics or Capital Markets knowledge)
  • Resolving phone and e-mails inquiries regarding data quality issues, application usage, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter and strong motivator
  • Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one's own work to achieve them
  • Knowledge of SQL is desired and any other technical knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Experience in systems development life cycle in Agile / Waterfall Development environment
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written 
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Strong experience with using SQL and creating database queries.
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases for defect fixes, enhancements, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries.
  • Strong requirements gathering skills (interviewing business users and functional leaders).
  • Good at writing Functional Specifications/Data Interface Specifications.
  • Experience/Understanding of business system development/analysis and Problem Management
  • Develop agenda’s and presentation decks for status meetings.
  • Communicate to management and other key stakeholders. Ability to absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately
  • Ability to produce excellent work under multiple, tight deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree

  • 6-12 years of experience with minimum 5 years hands on BA experience in Investment banking field.

Relevant business knowledge in Trade Processing domain understanding
