Compliance Intelligence - Home Lending is responsible for executing the Global Compliance Program via the automated data retrieval process.  The Team performs independent monitoring of significant regulatory obligations and evaluates key control effectiveness through assessment of system data analytics.  Compliance Intelligence – Home Lending performs monitoring for Originations (Retail, Consumer Direct, Home Equity and Correspondent) and Servicing.
 

The position will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Program through the identification, development, maintenance and analysis/review of automated data retrievals.  Compliance Intelligence works closely with the Line of Business Compliance Oversight and Testing Teams. 

 

Responsibilities
  • Develop requested data retrievals.  Maintain and execute/run developed data retrievals based on frequency.
  • Identify potential automated data retrieval monitoring of key compliance risks/requirements.
  • Work with Compliance Intelligence Officers and Compliance Oversight Officers on new and existing query logic to ensure current/accurate. 
  • Support department SharePoint site.
  • Develop and generate department reporting for internal and external audiences.
  • Perform automated data retrieval monitoring reviews in accordance with established frequency.
  • Timely escalate potential concerns in accordance with established processes.
  • Effective communication with various groups, as required.
  •  
    • Bachelors degree
    • 5+ years of mortgage banking, compliance or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge in mortgage regulatory compliance, audit theories and mortgage systems/applications (e.g., MSP, MX, RCO, CLM, etc.).
    • Expert experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • SQL query development and SharePoint maintenance.
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.  When presented with an issue, qualified candidates must be able to compile all relevant facts and data needed for effective resolution and present resolution to Manager independently.
    • Strong ability to work independently and as a team member.
    • Extreme attention to detail/quality oriented.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels within the organization.
    • Must be able to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously.
