The Brokerage Support Analyst will be responsible for numerous functions including trade support, reconciliation, preparation of various reports, e/in Rules and ad hoc issues.  In this role, the candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of products and trade flows (Equities, Mutual Funds and Options) for the US Private Bank and J.P. Morgan Securities. Candidate will be required to partner with immediate teammates, as well as front and middle offices relating to daily operations.
The role requires a willingness to take on a challenging and complex suite of products, and learn quickly in a high volume and constantly changing environment.  Strong communication and attention to detail are necessary skills, as this role includes interaction with Front Office, Middle Office and the trading desks. 
  • Work with Front Office Product Desks, Middle Office, Financial Advisors, and Client Service on trades in respective asset classes
  • Assist in the development, testing and implementation of order E and In Rules
  • Respond to inquiries as requires
  • Review daily reconciliation reports
  • Document procedures and process flows, and ensure they are kept accurate
  • Assist in developing and reviewing documented test plans, and coordination of UAT
  • Assist in the development of training materials
  • Work on various projects related to Middle Office, Administration, Risk, Compliance, and Operations
  • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Senior Management on business requirements, procedures and processes
  • Assist with day to day Front Office, Client and Broker inquiries
  • Assist with monthly management reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1-2 years industry related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree for higher
  • Self-starter, extremely organized with strong commitment to accuracy and detail
  • General knowledge of securities industry with high aptitude of learning
  • Process driven, and at ease with responding to high pressure deadlines
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities effectively, work independently
  • Must be a team player and be able to follow-through on key tasks
  • Series 7 and 63 or  66
