Direct Clearing & Custody (DCC) India/Taiwan is a Technology team within Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). We are technology group whose goal is to provide first class technology services in a first class way to our operations/business partners and upstream technology colleagues.  We do this by ensuring the highest levels of production availability and making sure all post trade processing is in compliance with agreed SLAs.
Team Description:
DCC India team works closely with business and technology partners across globe. The team owns applications that support sub-custody business in India and Taiwan market through Trade Management, Corporate action and Cash/Fx with interfaces with market participant e.g. depositories, exchange etc. The team is end to end responsible for all aspects of the application e.g. application hygiene, infrastructure upgrades, firm mandates and delivery of investment initiative, regulatory and market mandate items. Team provides 24/7 L3 support to operate and operations partners on rota basis.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Have 3-9 years relevant work experience
  • Actively participate in end to end process from planning/requirements analysis, development, testing and release into production
  • Actively participate in design discussions and architectural meetings
  • Proactively raise issues, mentor team members
  • Stay current with their skills and are interested in learning and using new technologies
  • Comfortable working closely with a geographically distributed development and planning team
  • Provide Developer (Level 3) support for the application
  • Strong communicators, having good people and team membership skills
  • Bachelor in engineering or above
Essential Skills:
  • Experience with: Core/Advanced java, J2EE
  • Experienced in using Relational database
  • Strong Object Oriented analysis, design and development skills
  • Spring Framework , hibernate, JMS
  • HTML / CSS
  • Complex problem solving capability.
  • Focused on quality, testing and production implementation
Desirable Skills:
  • Financial Domain Knowledge
  • Experience with automated testing tools ( preferably FitNesse/Selenium)
  • Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration)
