A lawyer in the Australia & New Zealand Legal team who will provide legal support to the Australia & New Zealand Markets business. This team covers all aspects of the Australia & New Zealand Markets business. You will be expected to interact with sales and trading desks for Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities, Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Electronic Trading, Futures & Options/OTC Clearing, Prime Services, as well as other lines of business in the Markets space. You will also interact with relevant internal departments such as Credit, Operations, Compliance, Business Controls and Tax, as well as with Legal colleagues based in the region.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Markets Lawyer for the Australia & New Zealand Markets business. This is a technically challenging role requiring excellent drafting and communication skills and a strong understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of Markets related transactions. The role will give the candidate great exposure to a variety of work, and will also expose the candidate to global, regional and domestic legal issues.
