CB Business Support Management (BSM) is the culmination of three Centers of Excellence namely; Office Support Management (OSM), Expense Management and Research and Company Insights (RCI).  The vision of BSM is to deliver a cost effective infrastructure to drive more leverage for our sales force, consistency and efficiency in our processes and ensure scalability across Commercial Banking.  As a relatively new organization, the model is constantly evolving and adapting to business needs.
 
Description
The Project Manager will work closely with the Head of BSM and provide project oversight across the platform reaching into each of the Centers of Excellence. The Project Manager will lead and participate in projects from initiation through completion, including phases such as strategic planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.  The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing certain ongoing business needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects of various complexity that will have a significant impact on the expansion of BSM and support of Commercial Banking initiatives in 2018.
  •  Some examples of significant projects:
    • Creation and rollout of Intern/Analyst onboarding/offboarding program
    • Travel and Entertainment dashboard
    • Centralization of invoicing submission
    • Introduction of office management platform
    • Oversight of monthly EMR and reporting for BSM
    • Collaboration on cross-firm Forums
  • Ensure projects are completed in accordance with Risk, Compliance and Legal standards
  • Communicate status of projects and escalate issues to stakeholders and to senior management
  • Development and execution of senior management presentations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, project standards and procedures including development of Standing Operating Procedures
  • Organize and execute internal meetings and offsites, as needed

 

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
  • 7+ years of project and/or operational related experience
  • Proven leadership initiative
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter
  • Strong change management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong inter-personal skills, including negotiation and influence skills
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Keen interest in data, workflow tools (sharepoint, Qlikview) and innovation
  • Advanced level in MS Office Tools:  Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access
