JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to become a member of our corporate tax planning group based in New York.  The corporate tax planning group of JPMC is comprised of over fifty individuals located worldwide who collectively are responsible for identifying tax issues and opportunities across the range of JPMC's products, businesses and regions. Each member strives to maximize shareholder value by –
  • Structuring JPMC’s operations and legal entities as tax-efficiently as possible,
  • Supporting JPMC’s businesses on tax-related issues,
  • Protecting JPMC from reputational risk,
  • Ensuring JPMC is in full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements,
  • Maintaining the highest ethical standards, and
  • Anticipating and influencing tax legislation and regulations in a dynamic global tax environment.
The position will focus principally on US federal income tax transfer pricing, including determination of appropriate transfer prices, preparation of contemporaneous documentation and advanced pricing agreements.  Experience with related international tax considerations is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years US federal income tax transfer pricing experience in public corporation or Big 4 accounting. CPA certification required.  JD a plus.
  • International tax experience a plus
  • Financial services experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Superior oral and communication skills
  • Superior leadership abilities
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external working relationships
