Client Service and Solutions
The team has overall accountability for ensuring our Client’s global service requirements are achieved end-to-end and across Custody & Fund Services (‘C&FS’), with consistent delivery across Markets & Investor Services.  We are their primary contact and are an advisor on all C&FS service related matters.  We partner with Sales in improving and retaining client relationships, while maintaining a strategic understanding of the client’s operating model.  We organize our clients into industry ‘segments’ such as Asset Managers, Pension, Sovereign Wealth and Banks. This allows us to understand the specific requirements and behaviors of the segment and ensure our service offering meets those requirements while positioning ourselves to build strong and lasting partnerships on strategic initiatives.
 
The OTC Implementations team is the pool of Project Managers responsible for the end to end on-boarding of OTC clients to JPMorgan’s products, systems and operational support architecture. The team handles a wide range of OTC derivative on-boarding projects for new clients and new fund managers for existing clients to in to JPMorgan’s Fund Accounting, Trust and Fiduciary, and Fund Administration functions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Define and manage project scope, goals, risks and deliverables to support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Actively and diligently manage project progress by use of project plans, issues logs and status reports.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, issues and conflicts.
  • Communicate and continually manage project expectations clearly and effectively with Clients, Senior Sponsors and associated Stakeholders.
  • Project management of virtual teams comprising representatives across business disciplines (e.g. Relationship Management/Sales, Product, Legal, Operations, Technology, Client Services, Traders)
  • Identify client and industry trends in order to facilitate constant improvement to the overall process. Design and deliver efficient remediation where gaps exist in product offering and technical capabilities versus client demand and requirements.
  • Define, drive and ensure full compliance with best practice and Audit requirements.
  • Demand management across a dynamic and diverse client pipeline including triage, prioritization, escalation management and resource allocation across a pool of project managers.
Required Skills / Experience:
 
  • You can discuss in detail your working knowledge of one or more of the following: Project Management, OTC Derivative Instruments, Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, Client communication.
  • You will have extensive experience co-ordinating across multiple cross-functional teams to external clients on client on-boarding or change projects, preferably within the OTC derivative space.
  • You will have experience managing complex and dynamic demand management with full stakeholder and client communication responsibilities.
  • You will have experience managing team members across differing geographical locations offering effective supervision and development.
  • You can demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through associated project discipline, structure, and time management skill sets.
  • You can demonstrate strong client facing negotiation and influencing skills.
  • You can demonstrate experience of working in a pressured environment with external client relationships
  • You can describe your experience utilising effective communication skills verbally and in writing.
  • You can describe your experience of MS Office tools, including Power Point, Word, Excel, Projects and Visio.
  • You will have at least a Bachelor’s degree, professional project certification, or the equivalent work experience.
