JP Morgan Chase Intelligent Solutions (JPMIS) is fast growing group that drives strategy and implementation of analytics and big data innovation for JPMC's businesses. 
The Business Analyst will support JPMIS Delivery Managers across various functions and projects aimed at providing big data solutions to the Asset & Wealth Management businesses.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify and record business needs, recommend business priorities, and advise the business on options, risks, and costs versus benefits
  • Facilitate requirements sessions with the business and design sessions with Technology to enable delivery of big data solutions
  • Manage day-to-day workload to meet milestones and critical dates
  • Identify and actively engage key downstream Technology, Business and Project Management partners
  • Collect data and perform analysis based on requirements
  • Complete and maintain required project processes and artifacts – including onboarding, business requirements, change requests, etc.
  • Work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure timely set up of data, access, and infrastructure
  • Provide support in identifying opportunities and actions for continuous improvement Become familiar with JPMC systems and processes
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline or related area required; Graduate degree preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and business orientation with proven ability to use data and analytics to drive business results Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex information simply and clearly to variety of audiences
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Demonstrated experience working with engineering, developers and other technology teams
  • Problem structuring & solving experience within a complex corporation
  • Strong understanding in project management principles and experience in delivering end to end solutions
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects at any given time
  • Strong technical background
  • Understanding of financial markets required
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • Excellent judgment and decision making ability
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
