The Investor Services Business in APAC is currently experiencing strong growth in several locations.  The Client Technology Management group is a key part of the Custody & Global Fund Service business responsible for the alignment of J.P. Morgan technology capabilities and strategic roadmap to that of our key clients in Asia.  We are currently seeking a collaborative and client focused Technology Relationship Manager to work within this team. You will be responsible for partnering with clients to analyse, propose and implement improved client workflow through the deployment of technology solutions across all electronic channels.

 

Key Accountabilities/ Major Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the single point of contact for Technology for an assigned portfolio of clients;

  • Representing J.P. Morgan on client initiated technology;

  • Developing strong relationships within key client accounts promoting J. P. Morgan technology;

  • Driving New Product deployments within the current client base including validation of end-to-end workflow;

  • Ensuring that information exchanged between J.P. Morgan and our partners is optimised in terms of accessibility, efficiency, resiliency and security;

  • Leads in planning, designing, enhancement and support of the current client data delivery solutions

  • Collating feedback of platform improvements through the product development lifecycle;

  • Support the project management process; includes co-ordination of resources, priorities, issues and risks, scheduling, stakeholder communication with Project Manager).

  • Recommending improvements to client integration activities that leverage core platform capabilities; and

  • Global coverage for franchise clients provided with regional expertise.

     

    Team Interaction

     

  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the business aligned client teams and representatives from each of the clients;

  • Generally this project will have a global mix of SME analyst team members and other resources over which the position does not have day-to-day accountability.  Therefore, in many instances, the position will be operating with a ‘virtual team” utilizing global JPM CFS talent;

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the various teams involved in the relevant projects; and

  • Ensuring coordination across the various teams including Operations, Technology, Sales, Relationship Management, Product and Client Service is critical.

Must have the following:

  • Written and Spoken Fluency in English; Spoken Fluency in Mandarin

  • Bachelor Degree

  • Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle functions including affirmation processing, trade capture, analytics, settlements, accounting and cash management

  • Proven track record in process improvement initiatives and delivery in a banking/finance environment

  • Strong end to end ownership, governance, controls, risks and dependency management

  • Ability to work both independently, taking clear ownership for delivery, and as part of a team. Self motivated.  Proven history of rapidly coming up to speed quickly and being effective

     

    Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Industry standard messaging protocols (SWIFT)
