Support Commercial Banking (CB) International and regional strategic priorities
-          Engage with in-country teams, MLRO, and ICE and BOE as well as global partners
-          Attend in country working group meetings to determine impact of regulatory change and steps required for a successful business implementation
-          Review Appendix X updates for xLOB working group
-          Provide A&U analysis for changes to covered countries
-          Update documentation (guidance, addendum, etc.)
-          Work on documenting approach and details for non-addendum countries and help steer the IA guidance notes ( so they are understandable and practical)
-          Be SME for country specific LDD procedures for covered countries
-          Provide SME support for IOL team
-          Provide SME support in relation to training for International
-          Identify KYC process opportunities and build the global framework in line with the central team to enable further identification of control gaps and work to solution with impacted teams
-          Have visibility with respect to the KYC process for the covered countries, and how that connects to the region and then into global so that the processes and solutions that are developed are sustainable, support the ICE in country.
-           Liaison point to prepare for KYC audits, inspections and internal requests
-          Review metrics prior to dissemination to in country and regional reporting

the ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

  • Graduate with 8 years + banking experience
  • Compliance/AML/KYC/risk/control background with a proven track record in Project Management and change management
  • Proactive, self starter
  • Analytical
  • Able to interpret policies/ Regulatory requirement into layman terms and business requirement
  • Influencing skills and stakeholder management skills
