The online and mobile channels for Chase currently support more than 32 million active customers; 9 million customers interact with us daily, making Chase the most visited banking portal in the US.   Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry.

Within this fast-paced, high-talent IT organization, the Delivery Management organization is the primary point of contact for Digital IT projects.   The Delivery Management team is seeking high energy, autonomous, motivated leaders to assume the role of Delivery Manager to act as the primary liaison across technology disciplines in driving day-to-day project delivery with a particular focus on high quality, efficient delivery.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of projects as a Scrum Master, using Scrum best practices
  • Ensure the team lives by the values and practices of Scrum
  • Manage the scrum process with the coordination of the Scrum team using the Agile methodology
  • Help remove impediments for the Scrum team, allowing team to focus on delivery
  • Support the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog and deliver on the product road map
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Be a servant leader, helping the team deliver on its commitments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience &/or specialized training in Project Management
  • Required - 5+ years minimum experience as a Scrum Master role, preferably in the financial industry
  • Required - strong knowledge of Agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
  • Required - ability to work with product, business and application teams to ensure sprint goals are met
  • Required - good skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency and servant leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with light project management duties (project plans, status reporting, etc.)
  • Experience working with teams that  write technical stories in JIRA/confluence using industry standard notations (like BDD/Gherkin)
  • Experience working in large, complex data environments
  • Experience working on large and medium scale software projects
  • Experience working with diversified multi-location team
