Department Summary
The Commercial Bank’s KYC Solutions Team is responsible for supporting the firm's Know Your Customer (‘KYC’) Program. Due Diligence Operations (‘DDO’) is a part of KYC Solutions and partners closely with Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) and Line of Business (LOB) KYC teams.  The team services both global and business-aligned functions by providing enhanced background research on prospective, new and existing clients in order to identify derogatory information and supplement KYC requirements. 
Key Responsibilities
As an EMEA Due Diligence Business Analyst you will be a part of the DDO Project Management team with both regional and global responsibilities.  Primary responsibilities will be managing vendor relationships, change management, procedure writing, project management and reporting.
Vendor Management:
  • Manage vendor strategy by working with Sourcing team to lead contract initiation, bidding, RFP reviews, selection criteria and vendor selection.  Coordinate the review and approval of vendor statement of works
  • Troubleshoot and escalate global vendor production issues  
  • Onboard/Offboard DDO employees and conduct regular renewal and remediation tasks
Change Management:
  • Manage global change requests and attain approvals from key stakeholders
  • Document lifecycle management (e.g. validation, sharepoint storage and retention management) 
  • Draft and update global Due Diligence Operations procedures and training documents
  • Manage global business resiliency plans  
  • Lead the Annual (RCSA) Risk & Control Self Assessments
Project/Reporting Management:
  • Partner with global leads to provide reporting to ensure headcount, financial targets and vendor analytics are well-understood and managed
  • Test and implement enhancements alongside the global project team
  • Facilitate UAT status update meetings including distributing minutes and ensuring all actions are closed out in a timely manner
  • Identify control opportunities and provide suggestions to improve existing processes
  • Help to drive town halls, off-sites, and weekly management meetings.  Support creation of Executive-level presentations on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree level education or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience or aptitude in project management, risk management, quality control, business resiliency planning, crisis management or testing development and delivery
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proven experience in presenting to executive management
  • Professional experience in KYC/Due Diligence; expertise may also include Compliance, Risk, Fraud or research background
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint
  • Advanced Excel Skills – Macros, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas, and Conditional Formatting
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new subject matters
  • High level of desire to succeed, works well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work accordingly.
