Role Summary
The JPMorgan CIB Office of Legal Obligations ("OLO") team is responsible for the oversight and management of the CIB End-to-End Legal and Regulatory Process Program (“Program”).  This Program is sponsored at the operating committee level of JPMorgan Chase (“JPMC”).  The objective of the Program is to design and develop a global, firm-wide, risk-based process to evidence the Firm’s understanding of applicable laws, rules and regulations (“Legal Obligations”) and the policies, procedures and controls needed to comply with those Legal Obligations. 
The CIB OLO team is responsible for the developing, deploying, overseeing and reporting of a program that ensures that obligations are drafted and proceed through the process lifecycle to completion and to support an ongoing change management process. This includes building awareness of the program in the Firm and ensuring consistency in global understanding and dissemination of regulatory requirements.
The role is within the London-based Investor Services & Financing (IS) team responsible for identifying applicability to our many businesses and mapping obligations to procedures or other supporting documentation.  The team works very closely with the CIB OLO team and with other Sub Lines of Business (ie Banking and Markets).  On a daily basis the role will involve working extensively with Legal, Functional groups and business stakeholders to investigate, co-ordinate and collate the required supporting documentation.  The role will provide considerable exposure to both functional partners and the business.
This role is in support of the Prime Finance and Global Clearing businesses within IS and reports functionally to the OLO Project Manager in London.  As an integral member of the team you will assist in the delivery of key responsibilities that include:
Program Administration
  • Supporting the development, organization and execution of the CIB OLO program for IS
  • Data analysis, identifying gaps, escalation of issues and provision of workable solutions
  • Provide project management support to manage documentation execution
  • Daily and weekly metrics reporting for the region (EMEA)
  • Attendance and careful follow up after key stakeholder meetings
  • Track and resolve items that impact project goals and timelines
    Mapping Execution
  • Subject matter expert on OLO process and tool related topics
  • Execution of mapping of obligations to required supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Business partners and CIB OLO to ensure a clear and well-coordinated program and consistent interpretation of applicable obligations
  • Technically advanced skills using Excel, Visio and Powerpoint
  • Willingness to learn, both project management skills and product knowledge expertise
  • Outstanding listening and negotiation skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator
  • Strong organizational skills, including expertise in issue and conflict resolution
  • Ability to partner closely with related functions to ensure a coordinated and effective program
  • Team player with ability to build strong cross-business relationships – proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability
  • Candidate needs to be comfortable working and partnering with people at all levels and across all functional areas
  • Detail oriented, with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control.  Attention to detail is critical in this role
  • Professional, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
  • Relevant experience/knowledge of financial products highly desirable
