The CIB Finance & Business Management (F&BM) group is organized to support and drive the strategic and financial objectives of the business and ensure a sound control environment.

Business and Role Description:

The CIB GCB & TS Coverage F&BM team acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior coverage executives to manage and optimize business performance.  The team partners with management to drive business strategy through projects and analyses focused on drivers of growth and efficiency, such as strategic client targeting, new business origination, balance sheet optimization, cross-border expansion, product cross-sell, and coverage productivity.  In addition, the team helps establish, execute, and maintain key business governance initiatives, such as client account planning, global TS new business and revenue target-setting, business reviews and management information, and the control framework for TS new deal origination.  The team also handles ad hoc special projects (e.g. regulatory priorities) and delivers compliance and audit support. 


Business Management needs highly-motivated creative thinkers who can leverage their analytical capabilities to provide strategic guidance to business partners and solve a wide variety of evolving business issues and problems. 


The NA Treasury Services Sales team manages the complex cash management needs of a portfolio of ~500 sophisticated multinational corporations headquartered in the U.S. and ~90 broker dealer, exchange, clearinghouse and bank clients.


 Support NA TS Corporate Sales groups in managing the business including:


  • Build senior trusted advisor relationship with the TS NA Corp Sales Head
  • Build proactive working relationships with the TS Sales industry managers
  • Drive all aspects of TS Sales team governance, strategy, and execution working with the coverage executives including:
  • Business reviews
  • Pipeline deep dive reviews
  • Analytics of key revenue drivers and trends
  • Sales strategy, client targeting and account planning
  • Coverage model and resource optimization
  • Sales, headcount and expense planning
  • Organization, talent management and scorecards
  • Deliver analysis and MIS to examine client, product and sector drivers and provide actionable recommendations on sales strategy to drive growth


  • Deliver regular updates to the mgmt team that highlights key drivers and issues
  • Drive proactive sales initiative tracking and report outs
  • Drive best in class pipeline management and practices
  • Drive proactive scorecard administration and communication including:
    • Due diligence reviews
    • Issue investigation and resolution
    • Predictive analysis
    • Talent management/review support
  • Deliver team information and analysis including:
    • Monthly revenue trends and advancers/decliners
    • Monthly T&E with compares to plan and top spenders
    • Headcount trends, org summaries, forward looking forecasts
    • Support for team reviews
  • Build proactive partnerships with business and functional partners necessary to execute the coverage teams’ agenda including:
    • TS Global Sales teams
    • Product and GCB Business Management teams  
    • TS Product
    • Functional groups - Finance, HR, Marketing/Events, Billing/Finance

  • Leadership & organizational saavy
  • Influence/Negotiation – ability to effectively interact with sales executives and managers, functional partners and other BM teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Project management - ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to act independently and make proactive recommendations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Assist in improving performance metrics for the sales organization
  • Knowledge of the bank's financial sales tracking systems
  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
