Description:
As a member of the North American Global Corporate Banking – Financial Institutions Group (NA FIG GCB) team, you will assist the corporate bankers in relationship management activities by providing consistent, high quality support to ensure excellent client experience.

Position Objective:
Assist the NA GCB FIG industry bankers with ongoing management of client relationships, including but not limited to:

  • Act as a liaison with the client, client team, credit and other business partners, including subsidiary bankers and product sales across regions to help deliver the firm to the client
  • Support ad hoc requests from clients, interacting across internal stakeholders 
  • Work with client and product partners to obtain all necessary documents for product delivery and to ensure products and services are implemented in accordance with client expectations
  • As part of transaction execution support, work with Wholesale Client On-boarding (WCOB) teams to address requirements for new client legal entity on-boarding and new business implementations to ensure timely and quality completion of KYC and AML related inquiries and provide transaction support
  • Assist with ensuring assigned client portfolio is kept current with all aspects of the firm’s KYC/MAL requirements
  • Monitor credit exposure  across the family relationship and partner with Credit Risk on credit related asks
  • Maintain parent support related documentation
  • Play a lead role in Trade/LC execution
  • Manage due diligence, credit, coverage, reference data and other requirements resulting from corporate actions
  • Participate in client planning activities and client calls


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Strong Commercial Banking background with experience navigating complex global organizations
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships. Strong internal network will be critical to success
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Broad financial services product knowledge, with knowledge of corporate finance and treasury services products  a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comfortable working in an environment that is evolving and subject to change
  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance and KYC processes
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) - Certified Treasury Professional Designation (a plus)
