The Mexico Private Banking Operations Group is responsible for the trading support and custody activities for the Private Banking Business, acting as first level of support for the Integrated Team. Accountabilities include BAU operational task such as order capture, reconciliations, problem resolution all of this under a risk and control framework. Along with the BAU activities, the group actively participates on different projects for both regulatory requirements and new business/products initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Support daily tasks and activities for the Trading Support, including order capture on corporate systems, running reconciliations and solving any mismatches.
  • Support daily and monthly tasks for the Custody of PB clients’ positions, including corporate events settlement, transaction settlements, withholding tax validations, balances control, securities transfers and other related items.
  • Partner with Tech team to ensure delivery of key business projects on time, as well as set up of strategic system infrastructure, roadmaps and opportunities for productivity improvements.
  • Work closely with Control functions SM, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Business Management to keep a control agenda.
  • Identify and help to drive ongoing enhancements and modifications to internal processes.
  • At least 1 years of related experience
  • Fluent English in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively summarize findings or critical information in a timely manner
  • Team-oriented and collaborative
  • Outstanding organization and people leadership skills
  • Project management skills working with both strategic and tactical projects
  • Understanding of Private Banking or Asset Management business including products and services
  • Minimum qualifications would be a Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering)
  • The successful candidate will need to be proactive and action oriented with highly analytical skills and ability for problem solving.
