As a key business partner of the CCB Digital business unit, the CCB Digital Controls team’s primary function is to implement an effective control framework across Digital business to identify and remediate control issues with a sense of urgency and overseeing ongoing evaluation of controls.
 
The Control Officer Sr. Associate role will be a specialist in data analytics focusing on leveraging ICDW data to perform automated control testing, ensure digital process & controls working as intended and delivering digital capabilities to customers effectively. The role will collaborate with data warehouse team, digital control officers and digital business owners, research on ICDW data, identify control testing automation opportunities, develop & implement strategy to leverage ICDW data to automate manual control process and manual testing process to enhance the overall digital control framework.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Direct engagement with CCB data warehouse team, digital control officers and digital business owners to develop queries by leveraging CCB ICDW data to perform full population testing on automated digital controls
  • Support or build process to automate manual process and controls in digital business
  • Maintain & execute SQL queries to monitor status of associated controls on a regular basis
  • Report testing results, defects and observations discovered
  • Support the timely delivery of different testing milestones
  • Support cross-functional automated testing initiatives in marketing, finance and HR areas
  • Continue to identify process improvement opportunities by leveraging data analytics for the whole department
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • 3+ years experience in SQL or SAS
  • 2+ years experience Digital business a plus
  • Result driven team player
  • Quick to understand the transition process, moving parts; ability to see big picture and understand the core importance
  • Can build strong partnership with ICDW data team, control officer and business partners
  • Strong executional and project management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with ICDW a plus
