The Global Fund Services Rapid Application Development Team assists with providing support for existing VBA and SQL applications with a focus on migrating from a VBA platform to .NET.

 

Role Summary:

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Analyst Programmer to assisting with all aspects of the RAD development lifecycle and providing support for existing VBA and SQL applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of solutions that deliver efficiencies for Fund Accounting operations using Agile methodologies
  • Providing support for existing VBA and SQL applications by participating in the production support roster
  • Providing high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments.
  • Utilizing mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhering to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the RAD development lifecycle with a focus on migrating from a VBA platform to .NET and SQL.

 

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • A tertiary qualification in Technology, Business or Finance.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in the design and implementation of business applications, preferably obtained within financial services.
  • Strong experience with .Net, C#. VBA, SQL and knowledge of SSIS.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to build partnerships/relationships with key stakeholders and customers at all levels.
