This role will deliver/manage financial accounting, regulatory reporting & operations professionals to ensure financial and regulatory obligations are being met timely and accurately. Individual will be required to develop and integrate JPMorgan and local cultures to successfully attract and retain talent. Strong relationship management and communication skills are key to success due to frequent interaction with multiple senior stakeholders in the Global Finance organization across all Lines of Business (LOB).
This role will potentially progress into the senior Corporate Finance executive at the Warsaw Corporate Centre in 18-24 months. This is a key leadership and culture carrier role for all campus wide initiatives designed to make the Warsaw Corporate Centre (WCC) a best in class strategic hub.
  • Provide oversight as the local leader to all Poland based Global Corporate Finance (GCF) teams. This may include but is not limited to strategic planning, process improvement, recruiting, human resource management, and internal client relationship management with senior leadership in the US and other locations
  • Lead the Poland expansion efforts across GCF functions by successfully migrating core finance activities to Warsaw and developing a standardized framework to ensure operating model consistency across various functions.
  • Build a strong transparent culture for staff based on meritocracy; advance the inclusive leadership agenda through diversity, training, performance management, networking, redeployment, job mobility, and  mentoring
  • Engage, motivate and influence direct reports, teams and peers, and enhance overall employee engagement and retention, working in partnership with HR and training teams
  • Monitor key HR issues around hiring, engagement, training, attrition, performance management and overtime that may impact the business
  • Build strong risk awareness and controls by working closely with Business Partners and Risk Control Managers in driving/implementing effective and sustainable control programs to pro-actively manage risks to the business
  • Partner with Business Analytics team to develop consistent operational and locational key performance and risk indicators
  • Provide oversight to the Financial Analysis teams based in Poland (Economic Scenario Management, Firmwide Planning & Analysis, and Firmwide Forecasting & Analysis)

  • Excellent understanding of accounting processes and MIS platforms

  • Capable of leading with conviction; willing to make tough/unpopular decisions, not afraid to question status quo
  • Generates ideas for continuous improvement and drives implementation of initiatives that promote productivity and quality.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, prioritizing and presentation skills
  • College degree in Finance or similar field; MBA a plus
  • Finance, accounting, data analysis and knowledge of regulatory reporting
  • Relevant work experience managing large global teams
