Role Description
The Whole Loan Trade Support team is part of the North American Securitized Products Group.  The team is tasked with the oversight and execution of whole loans while maintaining a highly controlled environment in a complex and growing business area.
As a Whole Loan Trade Support Analyst you will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of whole loan transactions via the front-end system and monitoring the trade flow through our risk management and back office systems.  You will be accountable for performing daily reconciliations on positions, prices, and trades between various systems. 
You will have extensive interaction with the sales desk, trading desk, banking team, Financial and Product Control departments, and third party providers to work deals through the trade life cycle, resolve deltas, report and manage trade timelines to mitigate any delays in closing and settle transactions on a daily basis.  Due to the growth of our existing businesses and new initiatives, you will be asked to participate in and contribute to projects, working in conjunction with our technology teams.
Additional daily responsibilities:
  • EOD P&L estimates
  • Hedge Processing
  • Identification and resolution of breaks across various desks and between FO and BO systems
  • Loan data delta processing and resolution working in conjunction with third party providers and internal underwriters
  • Generate funding memos working in conjunction with Transaction Management
  • Substantiating T+1 P&L differences and explaining drivers of change
  • Identifying potential risk related activities
  • Loan Collateral Exception Processing and Reporting
The specific experience necessary for this position is:
  • 1-2 years relevant Investment Banking experience
  • Self motivated individual that takes initiative
  • Ability to work in a stressful and quick paced environment
  • Highly organized, detailed and control orientated.
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Team player with the ability to build strong cross-business relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Process improvement experience is a plus
  • Series 7&63 licenses is a plus
  • Strong PC Skills including Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and other reporting tools
