We are seeking a business manager for our JP Morgan Merchant Services group in Europe.  This individual will report directly to the President of JP Morgan Merchant Services in Europe.  As a member of the leadership team for Merchant Services – Europe, this role will play an integral part in the development, execution and measurement of the overall business strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the planning and direction of administrative, financial and operational activities.
  • Develop goals and objectives to measure business performance to ensure focus on winning new clients and retaining and growing existing clients.
  • Confirm business is performing against defined Key Performance and Key Risk Indicators and that any gaps identified are addressed.
  • In conjunction with the Chief Administrative Office, establish regular cadence for business reporting and reviews at all relevant levels.
  • Ensure the European business is adequately represented in relevant cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of business cases.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret internal and external data and write reports.

    Essential Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Merchant acquiring or payments industry experience preferred
    • Significant relevant business management, consulting or analytics experience
    • Ability to successfully interact with senior level management and to partner at all levels across a large organization
    • Capacity to lead, negotiate, implement best practices, set priorities, plan, facilitate collaboration, coach, direct activities and hold teams accountable
    • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment to provide accurate and timely deliverables
