Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) serves as the central provider of technology infrastructure to JPMorgan Chase. GTI has launched a major, intensive, multi-year effort to improve and enhance the functionality of firm wide applications in integration technologies on behalf of JPMC's Lines of Business (LOB's). In conformance with GTI's Plan-Build-Operate model for distributed systems, a cross-tower team (GTI Messaging/Integration Services) is being developed and empowered to support this effort.
 
The Global Technology Operations Core Foundation Services team (GTI CFS) is responsible for providing end to end support for critical technologies that are used across the company.  This includes Configuration and Orchestration, Identity Management, Name Services, Enterprise Monitoring Solutions, and automation tools used to manage these technologies. 
 
The Core Control Services team within CFS is seeking an engineering candidate for leading security architecture design, core security requirements and solutions engineering across GTI. The candidate will be responsible for developing a service for delivering security solutions. .  These solutions must meet stated business and technology requirements and adhere to coding best practices and cyber security standards.   Must be able to work in a global team setting and adapt to dynamic requirements 
  • Communicates technical vision and roadmaps with little supervision
  • Identify and select technology solutions from multiple competing options
  • Development efforts (Integrate with vendor supplied API and in-house reference data systems)
  • Collaborate with cyber security and risk partners to optimize available solutions
  • Make build vs. buy recommendations to management
  • Work with support and operations teams to resolve operational issues
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Working closely with both internal and external teams and vendors to guarantee continuous infrastructure availability
  • Delivery on Service Level Agreements and maintaining solution performance and operation for the services provided 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related business experience with a successful track record of leadership across a wide range of technology functions
  • Expertise in architecting/developing Identify and access control/privilege escalation management and reporting solutions in large enterprise environment
  • Strong Java development skills is a must
  • Strong UNIX OS system level knowledge is a must
  • Expertise in encryption, certificate and key management solutions
  • Experience in Unix/Windows authentication and authorization (eg. Active Directory, Kerberos, Radius etc)
  • Experience in Multi-factor authentication and password vaulting controls
  • Experience in perimeter security controls
  • Experience in DDI solutions deployment and security implementation
  • Experience in big data based log analytics is a plus
  • Team management and leading global virtual teams
