FinRisk Warehouse (FRW) is a strategic component of the Finance - Risk Infrastructure and is managed by Finance & Risk CFO operations area within Corporate Finance.  We are responsible to source, control and monitor the timeliness, completeness, accuracy, reconciliation with General Ledger of all wholesale/ retail transaction and position information, on behalf of Finance and Risk - Credit, Liquidity, Market, and Principal etc.  The Program Central Execution team takes the lead in driving the strategic initiative of creation of the Finance Risk Convergence Platform and is responsible for the integrated program execution in partnership with Operations and Technology teams within Corporate Finance and Risk along with LOB teams.
Role Description:
The Product Owner Representative will drive with the delivery of a key products as part of the FRW Platform in an Agile environment. He/ She will be deeply involved in understanding the requirements improving the consistency, predictability and efficiency of the organization project delivery capability. The Product Owner representative ensures that the operational issues of the project are managed, focusing on the project interface with project leaders, project teams, and technology and Line of Business teams. He/She is responsible for managing the FRW BOW, ensuring all new functionality is properly tested in UAT before production releases and that existing functionality is regression tested to ensure existing functionality is not broken.   the PO representative will actively coordinate with the Risk and Finance Technology team and manages the status reporting of testing progress for FRW to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities would include but not limited:
  • Act as product owner representative in scrum team for the build out of the FRW platform tool set and dashboard capabilities based on user requirements
  • Continuously monitor projects/Programs status, create and distribute the project scorecards  and communicate impacts to Finance & Risk stakeholders
  • Participate in the creation of user stories and related acceptance criteria
  • Perform User Acceptance testing when required
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning and demo sessions
  • Quality control policies & practices ensure that latest quality standards are followed and enforced within the organization.
  • Ensure FRW strategy awareness and training for the relevant employees, project managers and team members
  • Creating and promoting a collaborative environment within Project Delivery team, where knowledge and skills are shared to facilitate efficient and timely delivery of projects.
  • Project management tools & practices
  • Team structure and Governance Framework
  • Policies & procedures, standards.
  • Must possess sound knowledge in program/project management, and systems development methodology with demonstrated success at achieving results and keeping initiatives on track
  • Experience and knowledge on Agile methodology including JIRA would be a strong asset
  • Strong technical skills such as Access, Excel, Power Point, Visio are strong assets, especially with automating processes  
  • Strong judgment and proactively executes on deliverables
  • Keen interest in industry innovation, especially with Machine Learning and AI (Artificial Intelligence)
  • Ability to understand both the business and technical requirements, to participate  within various Risk and technology forums, interpret ting the changing Risk environment
  • Have require skills to develop and deliver scorecards,  presentations and training sessions
  • A team player and adaptable to changing environment with good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate superior problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Candidate must identify issues, seek solutions and gain consensus regarding outcome.
  • Ability to think outside the box and balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills.
  • Manage and deploy initiatives by influence
  • Ability to work independently and multi task
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Financial product knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge of database systems (e.g. MS SQL Server 2000, Oracle) and database concepts a plus
