Duties: Design and build software applications that support Equity Portfolio Management & Compliance functions within Investment Management. Analyze existing applications and workflows, identify issues, and recommend software solutions. Responsible for coding, compiling, unit testing, integration, packaging, and deploying developed software. Implement business requirements and technical recommendations within agreed-upon timelines, and ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards. Collaborate with other developers to share development solutions, experiences, challenges, and best practices.Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or (5) years of experience as Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer/Developer, Associate (IT), or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: developing applications to maintain equities-related systems covering both GUI and server-side components; C# .NET; SQL development; multi-threaded programming; object oriented design; server side framework-based development; building connected, service-oriented applications; US and International Equity markets; translating business requirements into technical specifications; developing applications in WPF, WCF, MVVM & PRISM Framework for developing desktop applications; relational database development; and developing applications using IOC containers & unit test frameworks. This position requires three (3) years of experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
