This entry-level position (geared to individuals with little or no fulltime work experience) is part of The Asset Management Analyst Program and is applicable to individuals who have recently earned a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited school.  Though most hires into the Program are recruited through our formal campus recruitment efforts, we sometimes conduct supplemental recruitment of candidates with a similar level of experience and academic achievement as our campus hires.  Experienced professionals should apply to positions outside of this Program.    


The US Equity Research group is looking for a Research Analyst or to assist Senior Research Analysts who focus on Industrial Cyclical stocks.  The main job responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Senior Research Analysts in their efforts to generate positive investment performance by gathering information, analysing financial statements, preparing company review materials, industry presentations, and valuation metrics. 

Job characteristics:

  • Absorbing job, requiring taking work home and long hours.
  • Considerable contact with external parties.
  • Work is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and high pressure for results.
  • High level of attention to detail.
    • Candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.2
    • Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers, strong modelling skills.
    • Strong understanding of financial markets and securities valuations.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Extensive coursework in Finance, Accounting, and Economics
    • CFA candidate;
    • Prior experience: 1-4 years
