Duties: Work with a team that develops smart and scalable solutions and provide a solid experience for our users. Converse fluently in the full web-technology stack such as J2EE, .Net, Web Methods etc. Develop an understanding of our products and the problems we are attempting to solve. Be part of a continuous integration process that automates development test suites across multiple applications. Coordinate application onboarding by taking requirements and adopt the application to current toolset. Resolve daily issues for applications.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field of study plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as an Applications Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 1 year of experience with the following: build and deployment models; version control practices and procedures in SVN, GIT, and ClearCase; Waterfall and Agile development life cycles; Tomcat, weblogic, websphere, IIS, and apache; Java coding, shell, perl, and batch scripting; J2EE, .Net, Webmethods, and Informatica architecture; AWS, Azure, and Cloud foundry; Linux, various flavors of Unix including Solaris and AIX, and Windows desktops and servers; Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and NOSQL; Continuous Integration methods; Continuous Delivery methods; Maven, ANT, Gradle, and NANT; Jenkins features and functionality, including script console, CLI, security features, REST API, Notifications, Distributed builds, Pipeline setup, metrics, cluster operations, Analytics, authentication, and authorization; Docker, Mesos, Marathon, and Ansible; Geneos and Splunk; Mainframe zOS; Cucumber, Selenium, and ALM; SONAR, Artifactory, Stash, Bitbucket, Nexus, and NPM; and Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, Outlook, Lync, and Ms Office.
