The CB Client Data Management team within CB Business Management is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of sales and client data as well as related processes. CB Client Data Management is seeking a Data Management Associate to support key data management processes and initiatives. The Data Management Associate will be aligned to a CB MMBSI and serve as subject-matter-expert for the business’ data. The Data Management Associate will be a single point of contact for data-related requests and coordinate closely with the business, other LOBs, and key functional and LOB partners (e.g., Service, KYC, Credit, TS, Finance etc.).
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Execute on key data management functions, including processing client / prospect set up, client and sales data maintenance, credit data maintenance, mass changes, and client off boarding
  • Review and interpret internal and client documentation in order to execute appropriate reference data maintenance
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance and monitoring of key data metrics to ensure client and account information is accurate
  • Contribute to CB and firm-wide initiatives related to data excellence
  • Represent the business in cross-LOB prioritization of system enhancements and work with Technology to implement business requirements
  • Coordinate with product partners during the account opening process
  • Coordinate closely with offshore Quality Control team to ensure data is accurate
  • Identify areas for continued process improvement and assist in the execution of recommendations


Ideal Candidate:
  • Independent and self-motivated with a service-oriented mindset, but also a team player capable of working collaboratively and developing strong partnerships
  • Background in Service, KYC, or Credit support and / or strong understanding of Commercial Banking business model
  • Able to prioritize issues and multi-task effectively to handle multiple assignments and be proactive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to think-through and outline work processes in a thoughtful and detailed manner
  • Outstanding project management skills including project planning, time management, organization, influencing, and follow-up skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving
  • Able to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests
  • Proactively seeks guidance, clarification, and feedback from others
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience; knowledge of Commercial Banking is a plus
  • Expertise with Commercial Banking client reference and sales data is a plus
  • Expertise with Excel and Access; proficiency with PowerPoint (PitchPro) is a plus
  • Familiarity with CB risk and compliance policies
  • Expertise with internal J.P. Morgan systems (e.g. Client Central, Customer Assist, iCRD) is required
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • Location: Dallas or Chicago preferred
