The Role
 
This role supports the Asset Wealth Management line of business with a focus on Information Security monitoring, analytics and performance and Cyber incident response. Focus will encompass everything from ‘ad hoc’ requests to long term high visibility projects. All work typically has a substantial impact on the corporation/LOB and is normally geared towards risk mitigation and/or process improvement around the globe.
 
A successful candidate will possess the ability to quickly perform an analysis of current state and provide recommendations on future state solutions. The role requires an understanding of technology, application and systems infrastructure, so previous knowledge and a demonstrated, proven ability to drive technical projects to completion is needed. The role also requires a thorough understanding Cyber security principles and concepts and familiarity with Information Risk Management.
 
As these projects can be either tactical or strategic in nature, candidates must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, handle changing priorities and work independently and in a fast paced environment. Scope will often include direct management, oversight and responsibility for the delivery of short term initiatives and long term programs.
 
Please be prepared to provide samples of scope documents, project plans, and tangible results achieved in prior roles that will evidence a track record of success.  This role will support  the Global AWM Cyber management group:
 
  • Respond to cyber incidents detected via the DLP monitoring system or reported via the Asset Management LOB or via the Corporate CISO office
  • Provide Cyber risk advisory assistance with the execution of projects, programs and corporate/business initiatives for Asset Management.
  • Provide effective leadership and subject matter expertise in Information Security topics to management and to effectively support our Technology and Business partners.
  • Use influencing skills to obtain buy-in and participation from various groups and stakeholders without direct control.
  • Resolve project conflicts with appropriate levels of management, offer constructive options to move project forward.
  • Provide training, presentations and coaching on project management and/or process improvement.
  • Work with staff and management across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
 
  • Demonstrated understanding of information security concepts and terminology.
  • Minimum of five years experience demonstrating expertise in relevant information security technologies such as Data Leakage Protection, Encryption, Operating System and Application Security and other appropriate areas.
  • Strong problem resolution and listening skills.
  • Strategic and technical thinking-understanding of systems, infrastructure and various types of applications.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to interact with senior levels of management.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet tight timelines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities; flexibility is key.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc) are désirable
