Digital Payments Business UAT Analyst

Digital Payments are a key growth opportunity for Chase.  As Digital Wallets adoption has increased, new ways to communicate with our customers about their accounts, where they are stored, how they may be used along with improved ways to promote digital engagement continue to evolve at a rapid pace. Tokenization provides a secure foundation for the expansion of Digital wallets, replacing the actual customer account number with a more secure facsimile. Chase intends to be a leader in this space delivering highly differentiated experiences that help drive preference and usage. Currently Chase is a leading innovator in several digital payment programs, including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Chase Pay and Card on file Tokenization.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Business UAT Analyst will be responsible for testing various applications across complex test environments, and providing input for the resolution of critical user testing issues. Specific job responsibilities:

·         Manual testing experience is a must.

·         Should be able to work in fast paced Agile environment, supporting the testing for multiple Mobile projects simultaneously.

  • Prior knowledge of testing and operating mobile devices and mobile applications is expected.
  • On-hands device testing experience would be a big plus.
  • Should be well-versed with using ALM & Jira tools – for test execution and defect management.
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle SQL is required – DB testing will be a part of testing needs.
  • Should be able to design, develop and execute test cases, scripts based on the given business requirements.
  • Should be able to identify the appropriate data for testing, and work on data conditioning needs.
  • Should be able to work in co-ordination with development and QA teams in identifying and resolving issues. Excellent defect management skills are a must.
  • Should be able to document test procedures and results.
  • Should be able to support internal and external teams for integrated testing needs, to support all aspects of User Acceptance Testing needs.
  • Should be able to support Pilot, and Production validation testing, if needed.
  • Knowledge of all phases in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and/or QA (Quality Assurance) testing experience.
  • Experience with testing Mobile Devices and Online Mobile applications.
  • Experience with testing both frontend, and backend applications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with ALM and JIRA tools.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using Oracle SQL developer.
  • Well-versed with various Microsoft Office Applications.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • 4 yrs. related degree strongly preferred.
  • Independent worker, fast learner, & a self-starter highly preferred.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.

·         Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills preferred.

  • Should be open to learn new skills.
