Digital Payments Business Test Lead

Digital Payments are a key growth opportunity for Chase.  As Digital Wallets adoption has increased, new ways to communicate with our customers about their accounts, where they are stored, how they may be used along with improved ways to promote digital engagement continue to evolve at a rapid pace. Tokenization provides a secure foundation for the expansion of Digital wallets, replacing the actual customer account number with a more secure facsimile. Chase intends to be a leader in this space delivering highly differentiated experiences that help drive preference and usage. Currently Chase is a leading innovator in several digital payment programs, including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Chase Pay and Card on file Tokenization.

 Digital Payments Business Testing Lead will be responsible for leading User Acceptance (UAT) Testing, End to End (E2E) Testing, and Production Validation efforts of Digital wallets. Business Test Lead’s role will span various aspects of Testing responsibilities from leading, planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting the testing efforts. They will be working in close co-ordination with both Chase internal and external partner/vendors teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead, plan, and execute testing for multiple, complex Tokenization projects in fast paced Agile environment.
  • Develop and lead best practices for organizing UAT, E2E testing for various application releases, working in close co-ordination with multiple cross line of business teams.
  • Lead and bridge the gap between various internal Chase groups, and external Chase partner/vendors for a smooth Testing experience.
  • Lead, mentor and assign work to testing team members. Provide overall testing assistance and training to other business units performing UAT/Prod testing.
  • Review requirements to confirm testability. Develop Test Plan, & Test Approach documents, & review Test Scenarios/Cases to support testing for each release. Review Test results to avoid testing gaps.
  • Work in close co-ordination with development and QA teams in identifying and resolving issues. Excellent defect management skills are a must.
  • Provide daily/weekly Testing progress status and defect tracking reports.

  • Lead & support Production validations and post-implementation efforts.

  • Take ownership and provide UAT sign-off for Production deployment, with appropriate sense of responsibility and urgency.

  • Support and lead integrated certification Testing calls with external & internal Chase teams.

  • Document Test procedures and results to be in compliance with Business Risk & Controls guidelines.
  • Complete knowledge of all phases in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
  • In-depth knowledge of Software QA methodologies and Strategies – especially Agile Scrum, and Waterfall Models.
  • Expertise in Manual, User Acceptance Testing, Database testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, GUI Testing.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of Testing experience -  UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and/or QA (Quality Assurance) testing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience in Mobile App Testing. Experience with testing various Digital Wallets preferred.
  • Experience with testing both frontend, and backend applications.
  • Prior knowledge of Oracle SQL is strongly preferred – DB testing will be a part of testing needs.
  • Expertise in latest ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) & Jira Testing tools.
  • Expertise in various platforms (Windows (all versions), iOS, Android OS, TSYS).
  • Expertise in Oracle SQL Database Testing.
  • Expertise in MS-Suite.
  • Knowledge of Online Admin tool a plus.
  • Experience in Automation testing a strong plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and QA (Quality Assurance) testing experience.
  • Experience with testing Mobile Devices and Online Mobile applications.
  • Experience with testing both frontend, and backend applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ALM and JIRA tools.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using Oracle SQL developer.
  • Well-versed with various Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Prior knowledge of TSYS a plus.
