Consumer and Small Business offers a broad array of credit cards to meet the needs of individual consumers and small businesses. Our portfolio includes Chase-branded credit cards - Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and Slate as well as co-branded credit cards offered in partnership with well-known brands and organizations, including AARP, Amazon, Disney, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others in the United States and Canada.
This position on the Slate Marketing team will focus on identifying the strategies for the segmentations within our existing portfolio to meet key business objectives like OS growth and sales engagement, while being mindful of improving scores in customer feedback tools such as Net Promoter and JD Powers. In order to identify opportunities, make improvements, and engage customers, there will be close collaboration with cross line of business partners such as CMG, Risk, Analytics and Finance. This person will be responsible for identifying and shaping the portfolio campaigns, as well as, working with line of business partners on ongoing account maintenance strategies that will deliver OS growth and sales engagement. While some campaign execution may be required, the focus will be on identifying or adjusting strategies, ensuring there are clear analytic reads, and reporting out results.
The team seeks a self-starting, motivated individual with strong analytical, relationship and leadership skills who can dissect the portfolio and efficiently maximize results. This person must demonstrate the ability to understand internal and external data sources and effectively translate data into insights that will maximize our marketing strategies. Additionally, this person must be comfortable in “white space” and be flexible in pivoting as needed.
Bachelor’s degree required
7+ years relevant experience within marketing, finance or analytics required
Credit card experience is preferred
Experience with programming skills to synthesize data - SAS and SQL preferred
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, partnership, influencing, and creative problem solving skills
Results focused self-starter effective at prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently
Strong interpersonal effectiveness with ability to collaborate well with all levels of management and across organizational boundaries
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead and influence cross-functional teams
Ability to think analytically, manage complexity, and deal with ambiguity
Exceptional presentation skills with an aptitude to bring disparate ideas together in a meaningful way
Proven ability to consistently deliver meaningful results
