Chase Paymentech is looking for a Senior Client Consulting to join their team in Toronto, CA.  The successful candidate will offer consulting services to prospects and clients to assist in providing solutions that address their goals and requirements. The Senior Client Consulting will provide options and/or recommend solutions and alternatives based on the analysis of the client's business goals, infrastructure and existing systems. This will require the candidate to consider: key tactical needs, external market factors, as well as current and future positioning of Chase Paymentech.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Possesses a high level of familiarity with all Chase Paymentech developed retail and ecommerce product lines as well as those of the competition;
  • Provides technical and product related assistance to Business Development and Relationship Management efforts with prospects as well as existing clients;
  • Participates in presentations and demonstrations focused on presenting the Chase Paymentech technical infrastructure as well as the specific product solutions proposed to the client;
  • Possesses a working knowledge of current key industry trends including Mobile, Tokenization, Security and Compliance, as well as evolving industry trends;
  • Drafts RFP responses as it pertains to Chase Paymentech's product lines and technical capabilities, in collaboration with a subject matter expert when necessary;
  • Provides mentoring to the Business Development and Relationship Management organizations on all aspects of the payments industry and Chase Paymentech solutions;
  • Works closely with the Technology Alliance and Solution Management teams to best understand the partnership programs (VARS) that we offer while recognizing the specific strengths which allows for intelligent consulting when working with prospective and base merchants.
  • Works closely with internal groups (Product, Marketing, Operations, Merchant Implementations, Technical Implementations, Equipment Services and Compliance).
  • Proactively raises issues/highlights process with potential for enhancement or improved efficiencies.
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned;
  • The role will involve some travel within Canada.
  • Preference for a candidate fluent in both English and French
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with 7+ years of experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a systems consulting/integration or business analyst position
  • Experience in electronic payment industry highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the payments industry and information processing.
  • Experience with technical, product, and financial concepts is required. Incumbent must possess the ability to perform in depth analysis, explain complex system configurations, recommend viable solutions, and discuss integration to audiences with varying degrees of knowledge.
  • Able to proactively identify and syndicate potential solutions with little to no guidance
  • Knowledge of computer software systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present to external audiences.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to plan, organize and schedule resources.
  • Ability to provide analytical processes in researching and resolving issues
  • Skill in understanding customer needs and providing quality customer service.
  • Ability to travel to client engagements on a regular basis (estimated 25% of the time)
