Overnight Overdrafts, is the strategic application used for managing and decisioning overnight overdrafts. The integrated Credit Risk Application for Overdrafts was developed to provide a single overnight overdraft management & decisioning platform for the wholesale bank and select retail lines of business. TASO currently supports 6000 users in 90 branches across 12+ time zones globally.
 
As an application developer, candidate's duties will involve analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, coding and unit testing for enhancements requests, sometimes directly interacting with the users for understanding business need. The candidate will work within small teams of committed developers to deliver these solutions across multiple global locations. Candidate should be able to function independently with minimum directions. 
 
 
Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of in-depth Java J2EE development experience with Java 6 or higher including some years of technical leadership experience.
  • Experience with Gem fire, ExtJS, Hibernate, Web logic, JMS, MDBs.
  • Experience in developing highly multithreaded, highly scalable, concurrent applications.
  • Experience in relational database, Oracle, PLSQL skills. Ability to troubleshoot database related problems, performance tuning of SQLs and database objects is required.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives.
  • High-energy with the ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to clearly communicate business requirements to technical team.
  • Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with Business Objects and BPM is a plus.
 
Education
 
Bachelors in Computer Science, Math or other related subject or equivalent qualification /Familiarity of Scrum and Agile development
