The Vice President will support the development, implementation and on-going support of the multi-year Annuity/529 Platform Transformation project.  You will perform detailed analyses and define feasibility plans, coordinate delivery of results across different teams and departments, manage and report progress through project plans and other reporting tools, and drive the implementation of business solutions and change management initiatives. The size and duration of this project is expected to go through 2019.  Being self-driven, independent and comfortable on environments where priorities change constantly is paramount for this role.
 
The Role
  • Developing and supporting project plans including updates for management 
  • Managing project workstreams and all associated activities to support the global implementation of the program: create process flows, business requirements, and status reporting for various workstreams across the program
  • Ensuring the development of end-to-end operating model that works toward regional and global consistency
  • Partnering with key stakeholder in Annuity/529 Product Team, Annuity/529 Operations, JPMS and Private Bank to develop, review and maintain procedures for front office, control and support functions
  • Identifying training needs within the organization and partnering with Learning & Development to develop and deliver the training programs for front office, control and support functions
  • Working with Legal, Compliance & Risk Management to identify and address areas of risk & regulatory exposure
  • Supporting the Program team to implement business solutions, measuring the effectiveness of the solution and identifying ways to improves processes and products
  • Interfacing with control functions, business managements and technology to ensure successful delivery of the Program
  • Experience in CWM, JPMS or Asset Management, including strong familiarity with regulatory practices
  • Project management experience in a disciplined execution focused environment, proven track record of delivery
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to engage with various parties to discuss implications of new regulatory requirements and business impact
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfort in working with different audiences and ability to develop effective partnerships with key business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts and solutions at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient
  • Ability to manage complexity, multi-task, juggle multiple projects and deliver solutions to a tight deadline
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think on their feet and be able to apply critical thinking and logical/structured framework to situations such as business case development and issue resolution
  • Works independently to document the steps and requirements in order to create procedures and training according to Bank policy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio; Experience in process flow analysis/mapping
  • Be a team player who is easy to work with, shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives
