Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.
Candidate: Competencies:
  • Senior level analyst delivering business solutions to the business utilizing research, analytics and business consulting approaches
  • Work with various stakeholder across the CB like Sales, Strategy, Products, Business Management and Finance to drive business results
  • Bring in innovative design thinking and research approach in solutions to accelerate business interest and growth
  • Ability to bring in an out of the box, art of the possible and thought leadership in everything deliver to the business with a ‘think tank’ mindset
  • Should be able to define hypothesis and develop answer first with a 360 degree view on the problem statements and present a structured approach developing a consultative framework for analysis
  • Great secondary and primary research skills utilizing multiple databases and sources to develop a research and analysis frameworks providing intelligence across Finance, BFSI and Industry domains
  • Great analytical skills and detail-oriented approach. Ability to thinking through multiple dimensions of an issue utilizing available information and developing hypothesis and answer first that can be presented to stakeholders
  • Should be able to analyze data and information and conceptualize frameworks for analysis with a prototype / product development mindset and its enablement through technology to drive utilization and implementation with well-defined project plans
  • Significant exposure and experience performing strategic analytical activity (market sizing, forecasting, segmentation, trend analysis etc.)
  • Sound knowledge or familiarity with core consulting/ analytical frameworks (SWOT, PEST, STEEPLE etc.)
  • Expertise in advanced excels and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with unstructured requirements and being able to conceptualize the problem and identify areas of focus and develop a solution and answer
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking and experience in adapting to fast moving developments on projects
  • Continuously endeavor to expand the horizon, compel to consider more alternatives for a solution as well as training other team members on new skills
  • Prior experience building and scaling a team of 4-5 people will be very useful and looked at encouragingly, but not mandatory
  • Employee engagement and motivation, team building, defining career path a critical characteristic
  • Experience working in a start-up team and demonstrated fast progression with the capacity and drive to deliver solutions for decisioning and impact  will be looked upon desirably
  • High on general knowledge and an interest in staying tuned with global events & developments
  • Strong communication skills - ability to work with multiple product teams/stakeholders, understand key business objectives, and communicate complex concepts effectively to different audiences
  • Curious, energetic and highly proactive in nature and always focusing on opportunity arising from situations

  • Willingness to believe in oneself and assess situations as well as take risks when called for
  •  (Important) Technical Competencies
    • Experience performing complex analytical activity (Market mix analysis, Customer/ industry scoring, Sentiment Analytics, Cluster Analysis, Predictive Modeling, Loss Modeling/ Loss Development Factors, Index products, Market Basket Analysis) --- at least 4-5 of these on a frequent basis
    • Well versed with databases like Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Factset, OneSource, EIU, Euromonitor, Government Databases etc.
    • Excellent presentation and excel skills
  •  (Helpful to have) Technical competencies
    • R, SSRS, Altreyx, Tableau, SPSS and other applications
Educational Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience in premier analytics and/or consulting firms or divisions of  strategy consulting/investment banking, asset management, insurance, e-commerce, banking (Captives and 3rd parties) or dynamic start-ups focused on providing analytical solutions to clients
  • Master’s degree (preferred) in a quantitative subject, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or an MBA in Finance from top tier institutes, but open to top performing Undergrads/Bachelors with prior experience in Analytics/ Research & Analytics Solutioning
  • Highly open to candidates with CFAs/ GARP/ Advanced Analytics Certifications
