Overall Role Description

The Corporate Banking Intern will provide support for banking activities ranging from assisting in the periodic renewal of "Know your Customer" requirements for both Corporate and Financial Institutions clients, to regulatory aspects for the onboarding of new clients and the preparation of marketing materials for existing and prospective clients

The intern will assist with document requests, consolidation and renewal processes compliant with local and corporate standards


Main Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility to support analysts managing internal processes for "Know your Customer" renewals, deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationships at operational levels
  • Provide support to the front office and sales team to process client onboarding in an organized and diligent manner
  • Help to drive analysis and reporting for onboarding/renewals metrics, strategy and priorities
  • Support the corporate bankers for all client activities (marketing and execution)
  • Assisting in preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials
  • Conduct industry and company research
  • Strong academic record
  • Completed studies of at least 60% of undergraduate’s curriculum
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to multi-task and work with variety of people, including senior corporate bankers, investment bankers, product partners and operations support
  •  Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
  • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills
  • Proactive and goal-oriented. Stays current on business and industry trends
  • High attention to detail
